Brownfields Forum:

Lakewood Transit Oriented Development
A community forum for developers, lenders and property owners to learn about creating
redevelopment opportunities, financing, incentives and overcoming environmental hurdles
specific to Transit Oriented Developments (TODs) in the Colfax corridor. TODs  are
pedestrian-friendly,  mixed-use developments, located within proximity to transit. They are
designed to allow residents and workers to drive their cars less and ride transit more.

Background: Weston Solutions recently purchased a four and a half acre parcel of land
at west Colfax Avenue and Garrison Street.  Still in its planning stages, Weston envisions
development the site into 160,000 sq. ft. of retail and office space.
