Mr. Brown, Senior Vice President, Product Line Manager, Freberg Environmental Inc a HRH Company),
has 17 years experience in the environmental industry both in the engineering and insurance sectors.
Stacy joined FEI in 1998 and is responsible for FEIs Environmental Impairment Liability (EIL) and
petroleum Storage Tank programs. Mr. Brown spent a majority of this career as a Project Manager at
Dames & Moore, an international environmental engineering firm. While at Dames & Moore, Mr. Brown
managed a wide variety of environmental projects, including acquisition, Brownfield's redevelopment,
environmental permitting, construction management, remediation plan development, agency negotiation,
compliance audition and Phase I & II environmental Assessments.
In addition to managing these programs, Mr. Brown also develops underwriting procedures, pricing
models and policy form language. He is a frequent public speaker and has spoken at EPA conferences,
insurance seminars and private gatherings concerning environmental insurance trends and the
insurance marketplace. Mr. Brown has co-authored two books: Understanding and Managing Risk, A
Handbook for Environmental Consultants and Contractors (1999), and Understanding and Managing
Mold, A Handbook for Environmental Consultants and Contactors (2003).
Cliff Yeckes, based in Denver, is a Vice President with the Willis South central Region Environmental
team. Cliff has 23 years of experience as an executive manager and senior technical professional in
the consulting environmental / engineering, retail petroleum and mining industries.
Utilizing a variety of risk management techniques Cliff has ben very effective helping commercial,
manufacturing, industrial, and government sector clients minimize their business risk and financial
liabilities arising from contaminated media, natural hazards, mining and water resource related matters.
Cliff has worked extensively in environmental due diligence effecting real property trransactions, and
mergers and acquisitions. This work has involved measuring and evaluating the regulatory, technical
and financial impacts of environmental deficiencies associated with multiple site portfolios and
developing approaches for prudently managing the risk, often through insurance vehicles. Cliff also
works often with the legal industry, providing litigation support and expert testimony.
In service to his community, Cliff has served as a Board Member for Juan Diego High School; the Natural
Hazards and earthquake Disaster Planing Committees for Salt Lake County and activities committee for
the David C. Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.
